Piper and I have started doing search and rescue training! Piper is in training to be a cadaver detection dog. We recently attending the North American Search Dog Network (NASDN) training seminar in Custer, SD. What fun we had, and Piper has a great nose for dead people!

Piper found the scent at the base of the stump and is in a down to show me that she found something.

We are searching the building, and the scent is at the lower corner of the left window. She just found it!

Piper's first birthday party was a pool party with all of her friends present. I even made a cake for her--peanut butter carrot cake!

After Piper did the taste testing on the cake, she shared it with the other pups!

She did awesome! Of course, she knew more than me! :)

Piper came all the way from TX and she is just an awesome little girl. She is very busy, and is keeping me on my toes!
